The ears of dogs and cats are a frequent source of problems. The long ear canal allows dirt and wax to build up. The heavy drooping ear of some dogs closes off the opening of the ear canal preventing proper air circulation resulting in a moist, odorous ear. The R-7 Ear Care Kit contains one 2oz bottle of R-7M Ear Mite Treatment to control ear mites and ticks and one 2oz bottle of R-7 Ear Cleaner to clean ears and reduce odors.

DIRECTIONS: FOR DOGS AND CATS

R-7 Car Cleaner-Cleans and helps reduce ear odors.
Use two or three times a week to keep the ears clean and reduce ear odors.
Use before and after bathing, swimming or hunting.
Fill the ear canal with Ear Lotion. Gently massage the base of the ears. Use facial tissue or cotton to clean the ears.
R-7M Drying Ear Creme and Ear Mite Treatment

Use to keep the ears dry and control any ear mites or ear ticks present. Use after the ears are cleaned with R-7 Ear Cleaner. This unique liquid and dry phase creme will dry to a powder to help keep the ears dry and keep Ear Mites and Ear Ticks out of the ears. To control ear ticks and ear mites, apply 10 drops to each ear so that it can penetrate wax down to surrounding tissues. Repeat treatment once or twice at 2-3 day intervals.

EAR MITES: These are small parasites which crawl in the ear canal of dogs and cats. They chew on the ear and cause scratching, head shaking, pain and infection. A crusty brownish-black material will occur in the ear when mites are present.

Features and Benefits:

Mild Cleansing Liquid - cleans, yet is mild to the tender ear canal

Aloe Vera - soothes the canal and reduces irritation caused by purulent discharge due to hair, weeds or other debris in the ear

Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate - dissolves ear wax and build-up , reduces odors

Directions: Note: For the added comfort of your animal, you may warm the liquid to room temperature by placing in a bowl of warm water for several minutes before using. For long eared animals, fold the ear flap back and hold.

Put 8-10 drops of Ear Cleaner in the ear and gently massage the area to help dislodge the wax and debris.

To the animal the dissolving of the ear wax sounds like the carbonation in a soft drink. The animal may want to shake its head - this action will help dislodge any wax build-up or debris. After a few minutes, clean the ear with a swab, tissue or cotton ball and allow the rest of the ear cleaner to evaporate naturally.
